The International Forum on Planning and Development convenes in Tripoli, Libya on 28-29 June 2026 — a moment when the world faces profound economic and geopolitical shifts that compel developing nations to rethink traditional development models.
Organized by the Ministry of Planning together with the Arab Planning Institute in partnership with the Libyan Planning Institute and other national bodies, the forum is an intellectual and practical platform to bridge the gap between plans and real-world implementation.
The forum focuses on development planning under the Fourth Industrial Revolution, financing challenges, the green economy, human capital, smart cities, and translating recommendations into actionable programs.
